Network members discussed the changing relations between Western and Central Europe with Mina Noor, Merel de Coninck, and Roos van der Leij

What is the future of Czech-Dutch relations after parliamentary elections in both countries? What are the key areas of cooperation between Czechia and the Netherlands? How has the perception of Central Europe changed in the Netherlands since the beginning of the Russian aggression in Ukraine?

These and other questions were discussed by members of the Women's Network in Czech Foreign, European and Security Policy at its November meeting with Dutch Ambassador to the Czech Republic Mina Noor, Head of the Division for Central and South-Eastern Europe at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs Merel de Coninck, and Country Desk Officer for Czechia, Slovakia, and Croatia at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Roos van der Leij.

The speakers also shared their experiences from foreign missions, discussed the position of women in diplomacy and the concrete steps that governments and ministry leaders can take to increase the meaningful participation of women.

The meeting was held in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Prague.
